The Entourage Effect
Cannabis, which includes both hemp and marijuana, contains many beneficial compounds, which all have beneficial properties by themselves. When these compounds are combined, they work together synergistically to boost all of their individual effects. Learn more about the individual compounds below!
CBC- Binds well with other receptors in the body, such as the vanilloid receptor 1 (TRPV1) and transient receptor potential ankyrin 1 (TRPA1), which are linked to pain perception. When CBC activates these receptors, other endocannabinoids are released. CBC shows medicinal promise in areas including pain management and cancer symptom treatment, including anti-inflammation, anti-anxiety, and anti-depressant qualities
CBDV-Studies suggest CBDV works an anticonvulsant and antiepileptic
CBG-The chemical parent of both CBD and THC, CBG has a wide range of applications;
CBN- A strong sedative, an effect that is amplified when it is combined with THC. Scientists have found that CBN can increase appetite. It also displays anti-convulsant effects, although not as strong as CBD and THC. It has substantial anti-inflammatory properties, able to relieve pressure in the eyes (a key treatment for glaucoma) and the lungs. CBN is also a powerful antibiotic, a study in 2008 concluded that it successfully killed (MRSA), an antibiotic-resistant staph infection. Scientists have also found that CBN triggers stem cells in bone marrow. Studies conclude that CBN can have a hypothermic effect, meaning that it can actually lower ones body temperature.
THC- Our Full Spectrum oils contain well below the legal limit of 3% THC. Our raw product is lab rated undetectable, under .05%, which is diluted another 30 times, at minimum. While we haven't seen anybody fail a drug test using this product, we can't guarantee that you wont in high doses. If you are susceptible to drug tests, meaning your job or freedom is dependent on it, we recommend our PURE CBD products, found here!
Others- While we have listed a few, there are over 113 cannabinoids found in cannabis. Most of them are only found in trace amounts, but more research is still needed to know how they affect your body
Contains all 20 amino acids, including the 9 essential ones our body cant produce. They are essential to almost every metabolic process that occurs within the body. This includes the transport and storage of all nutrients such as fat, carbs, proteins and vitamins. Many ailments, such as diabetes, obesity, high-cholesterol, insomnia, erectile dysfunction, arthitus and many others can be traced back to metabolic disturbances.
Calcium- Important for the formation and strengthening of bones and teeth, while helping to maintain a normal blood pressure
Magnesium- Assists in bone mineralization, activating B vitamins, acting as a nerve and muscle relaxant. It also assists with protein synthesis and is responsible for the use of energy from nutrients.
Copper-Required by our bodies for absorption, storage and metabolism of iron, the formation of red blood cells and collagen. Copper is required for brain development and nerve cell communication because it helps spread oxygen throughout the body.
Iron- Assists in carrying oxygen in the blood and to our muscles. Iron is required in our bodies to make new cells, amino acids, hormones and neurotransmitters
Dietary Fiber -Helps to promote normal blood cholesterol and regulates blood glucose and maintains a healthy bowel function.
Zinc -Assists the immune system fight off bacteria and viruses, used to make proteins and DNA.
Potassium-Assists in the regulation of blood pressure and heart rhythm. It helps keep the water levels in our cells balanced
Calcium-helps release hormones and enzymes that affect most human functions
Phosphorus- helps keep your bones blood vessels and muscles healthy
Full spectrum oil contains typical vitamins A, C and E, along with complex B vitamins (such as niacin, riboflavin and thiamine). It also contains vitamins, such as beta-carotene, that aren’t sufficiently present in contemporary diets. Essential vitamins help increase your immunity, heal wounds, strengthen bones, manage your eyesight and increase the energy you gain from food, and more
Terpenes are odor molecules that give the cannabis plant its strong scent. Terpenes also work extremely well with cannabinoids to heal the body. Terpenes bind with our neuronal receptors, and are catalysts in the activation of the immune system. Many terpenes are studied for their antimicrobial, anti-depressant, antioxidant, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and sedative effects.
